Thousands protest against Russian health cuts

SUMMARY

In Moscow, thousands of persons, in spite of the cold, have been going to protest for the reforms of health, which include plans to close the hospitals and to reduce working places. It is said that the reforms might drive to the loss of up to 10.000 working places of the doctors and the closing of approximately 28 hospitals and clinics at the beginning of next year.

OPINION

I consider it unfair that fact. Though the authorities say that the changes are necessary to modernize an antiquated and inefficient system I don't believe it this way. 
There seems to me very unlikely the fact of leaving 10 thousand persons without work and in addition to close near 28 hospitals. Where all these people will go? We will know it when they do it, if they manage it to do clearly.

Manchester United vs Hull City

SUMMARY

This Saturday the Manchester United obtained his third consecutive victory in the English League against the Hull City. The first goal was scored by Chris Smalling in the 15th minute.

The second one came in the minute 41' thanks to one of the best English players of the 21st century called Wayne Rooney. Finally the third goal was scored by the Dutch Van Persie in the minute 65'. 
That was the end of the match, with a 3-0 win for Manchester United, which is lately becoming stronger and currently holds the 4th place in the standings.

OPINION

I have decided to choose this news because the Manchester United always has been one of my favorite teams and during the last years this team isn't demonstrating what is. Previous years it was said that it was one of the best clubs of the whole history of the football. In conclusion, I'm proud of this team, and I hope that they come very far.

Silent man in werewolf mask shoots worker in California

SUMMARY

A man with a mask of wolf entered to a shop for the back door, which was opened due to the reforms that were done. The masked man, without saying anything extracted the pistol and shot a 58-year-old man, which is expected to survive. After the shot the aggressor gave himself to the escape and nowadays the policemen haven't found him.

OPINION

The company of nowadays every time is worse. I don't deal since it is possible to enter to a place and without saying anything  to shoot an innocent person, who you don't even know. 
In conclusion, after doing things as these, I would feel very badly, and the person who did it I suppose that also he will repent.

Tamir Rice

Summary
This story is about a 12 year old boy of Cleveland, called Tamir Rice, which was playing with a toy gun in a park. 
The police received a call that there was an armed guy and then they went to the situation. In the park police saw that the boy had a gun in his waistband.
The boy didn't draw the gun but one officer fired two shots, one of them touched his upper body. Fact that fatally ended with the death of the poor boy.

Opinion

In my opinion this fact is very sad.That has to die an innocent boy with only 12 years is very unjust. I don't deal as the persons they can manage to think that with this age a child could have a pistol indeed. 

Nowadays the company of this world is very unjust with some persons, I hope that we could change this so cruel world and live in a company where everything is correct and there are no problems.

Almost 36m people live in modern slavery

SUMMARY

This news treats of the slavery. Almost 36 million persons in the world live as slaves.The largest number of slaves is in Africa and Asia. However in Europe is less frequent. In India the number of people living as slaves are 14 million. For this reason some countries already are taking measurements to be able to diminish this persons quantity.

OPINION

In my opinion I believe that any human being must be free and not to have to be under the control of anybody. In the end we are all people and we are all equal . 
So I think it's okay that some countries are already taking action against this.

MY BIRTDAY

Yesterday, November 16, was my birthday. I couldn't go out  to celebrate because the following day I had an examination of Philosophy. 
Even this way,  missing two hours for my birthday, that is to say, it was still the 15th of November , I went to a Restaurant with my team to eat and we have done a mini-celebration of my anniversary and of another companion of the team, which was expiring years the same day. On the 16th, my parents wanted to  going to eat out, but  in the end, I told them that I could not. 
I had stayed home to study and afternoon, while I was studying, my father made a barbecue and my mother prepared the rest of the meal. So I celebrated my birthday with my family.
And in my opinion, to be in family is the better thing.

Oral Presentation

This first quarter I made the presentation alone. I decided to do it about Oscar Wilde, because  he is the author of Dorian Gray, book that we read in class recently.

In this Presentation: I used a Power Point, because when I present, It  was always has good graphics, and It easy to work with this.

The Body Language: In my view I think our language Is sufficiently clear and precise.

The Structure: The structure that I have followed, Is the usual, Introduction, Index, The body and finally the Conclusion.

The Content : I think it Is a fairly complete presentation.

The Language: I think that the grammar was correct.

The Pronunciation: I think that the pronunciation Is good,but a little bit fast.

In conclusion: I liked to make this presentation because now, I know more information about Oscar Wilde, both his personal life and the works he has done. Overall I consider it a great author and noted especially his courage.

Film Review: 3 Meters Above The Sky

The other day I decided to watch the movie Three Meters Above The Sky.
It Is a film that is about first love and is located in Barcelona, with two young persons who meet themselves and who belong to opposite worlds.

She is sweet Babi, a girl of high class living in a very protected environment. He, Hugo, known as the hard "H" is an impulsive and irresponsible guy, who do amateur fights and illegal motorbike races. They fall in love. Some time later, Hugo's best friend dies in a motorcycle race, that's where the relationship between Babi and Hugo ends.
Babi finally finds another boy, and Hugo, decides to go to London, to forget about all the problems, but above all, forget about Babi.

UNITED STATES

I would like to go to United States. I think is the best place to spend a nice holiday.
First of all, I would like to visit New York, there are plenty of things to see and enjoy; restaurants, night clubs and entertainment of all kinds, as well as thousands of businesses and boutiques that make this city the paradise of "purchases".
Also I would like to go to Las Vegas, to see the shows of famous artists and spectacular live productions with singing, dancing, comedy and acrobatics.
Finally, the last place that I would like to visit is Los Angeles because it's famous around the world for its mild climate and its landscapes. But overcoat I want to go there to see the great quantity of famous that live there.
In conclusion, I hope to go there someday.

The Health Benefits of Humour and Laughter

Laughter is very important in life because it's a medicine which relaxes the body, protects the heart and also dissolves distressing emotions.
Laughing is recommended, we can watch anything funny, make fun activities or play with a pet.
Laughter helps to a better relationship with people.
If someone cannot laugh, you can begin to do so by following a few small steps: first of all smile, also join funny people and especially provide humour in discussions.
This way you will begin to feel better and you will be happier.

Is humour necessary in our lives?

In life, laughter is strong medicine for mind and body because it strengtheng our immune system and boost our energy.
First of all, laughing relaxes the body and makes you feel good and for this reason you forget the bad moments and be more positive or happy.
On the other hand, there are people who don't laugh, they haven't got sense of humour.
I recommend them to learnt to smile, watch anything funny or read anecdotes, you can be happier.
In conclusion, do this if you want a good life and good moments, don't be stressed, always smile.

William Kamkwamba

William Kamkwamba is a boy who was born in Malawi. Malawi is a very poor country where science was mystery.
But William read a lot about windmills and he dreamed to built one of this.
With some scrap metal, tractor parts and bicycle halves he did it. This miracle changes the lives around him.
In conclusion, I think that the video I saw makes us think and never stop striving to meet our goals.
For this reason I think that impossible is nothing.

Dear Teacher

My goals for the future is first of all make an effort this year to pass the 2nd of Bachillerat and after do "Selectivitat" to decide what degree I will be going to do.
All this, deserves great continuos work because it is the last year.

This last part is the hardest for me because I'm a lazy guy and I always leave everything to the last moment. But this year I'll try to do it all in advance, to save work other days and have free time.
I have to be able to organize myself and I'm not used to. For this reason I have created a routine not to get confused.
In conclusion, giving the maximum to have a good future.

My Final Post

This year the group of English which has touched me have got  a high level. 
I think that I've adapted well and I would like to say that throughout the year, I had a very good time with them and I hope to continue enjoying the language with them next year. 
What I liked this year were the presentations that we have done because we have practiced and improved expression in English.
What I didn't like much were the essays that we have delivered, that's because almost every week we had to deliver a drafting and finally I just tired. 
Furthermore, I also liked doing the blog, I have shared many things in this blog and I have greatly improved the writing. 
In conclusion, what I would improve it wouldn't do so many essays and read more books, to see if we understand the language and history of the book.

Bullying

Of course, it's horrible on the victims self estreem.
But,I think that the "bully" also need care too.They are picking on someone and making that victim feel bad.
Bu
t usually, kids who bully are also being bullied somewhere else.Older sinlings,abusive parents.
What I mean is that something has got to be wrong if someone were to act so violent towards others.

So, I think that victims are victims...but bullies also are victims.I don't agree with shaming or punishing the bully, because they must be going through something tough as well. They may be showcasing it in a violent way,but they need help just as much as the victim.
I also think that victims need to understand how to react when being bullied. Telling a teacher or even just learning to ignore the bully.
I think schools and parents need to be more involved in a positive way. Promoting tolerance of color, religion,gender,sexuality,etc...
In my experience, most bullying cases have been solved with a slap on the wrist.

SPAIN VS BOLIVIA

This Friday Spain kicked off their World Cup warm-up plans in earnest  with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Bolivia, providing South American opposition ahead of a group-stage duel with Chile in Brazil next months.

Fernando Torres and Andres Iniesta scored the second-half goals in a match Spain dominated throughout, with a number of chances narrowly missing or hitting the woodwork, while Pepe Reina was entirely untested at the other end. 

With none of the Real or Atletico Madrid players involved following their Champions League exertions, manager Vicente del Bosque opted to field four attackers from the start who had not always enjoyed the best of 2013-14 seasons, challenging them, perhaps, to win their World Cup squad places.

Finally, it has been a very well made and played match  by Spain .

We hope and trust that this national team going to win the Cup this summer.

Music, my life !

In my life music is too important for me, it change my thoughts, my character; it change everything. It change my life. 
When I'm depressed, I listen sad music, or romantic songs. I don't know why I do it, but I can't control it...
But when I'm happy, I listen good music, moved songs, house, pop or reggaeton. When I do it, I feel too better.
When I go out, or go to the disco, or in a private party, I forget my problems and start dance with my friends, and everyone have a good time!
Musics is the best medicine for me, when I'm too stressed or too sad... I take my headphones, music at maximum, and I can disconnect from everything, problems, tasks...I can disconnect from my life!

The Last Effort

This week and the next one are going to be terrible for me. There comes all the exams, so that it means: study, study and study... I don't think I'm going to be an excellent from every subject, but i'll try to get the best mark as I can, because I'm going to study a few days before. 
I don't have many time on the afternoons, because I'm always busy doing things, but I always can study a bit, enough to have a good mark. There are some subjects that are more difficult for me than many others but I have to strive myself with it.

2014 UEFA Champions League Final

My favorite team has won the champions league 2014, I  had been waiting for this moment for 12 years, but after all Real Madrid has finished with his luck and finally won this long-awaited trophy.

The match took place at the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon, Portugal, between Spanish sides Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid. It was the fifth tournament final to feature two teams from the same association, the second all-Spanish final and the first between teams from the same city.

Real Madrid won the match 4–1 after extra time, with goals from Gareth Bale, Marcelo and Cristiano Ronaldo following a 93rd-minute header by Sergio Ramos, which cancelled out Diego Godín's first-half goal.

 In doing so, Real Madrid secured a record 10th title in the competition, 12 years after their ninth victory.

I have nothing more to say, proud of this team, and I hope that it continues winning and fighting for all the possible titles.

Film Review !

Below I will explain a movie I've seen since it is one of my favorites and sometimes when you have nothing to do, you decide to see this movie, that you like and never get tired of it.

21 tells the story of a young, brilliant MIT student who turns to counting cards in blackjack in Vegas with his lecturer and a group of fellow students to pay for his future in Harvard Medical School. Naturally, things turn sour, and our hero loses everything, including his friends and MIT degree and must fight to regain them.

Don’t take my opening comment the wrong way, 21 is not a bad film – it’s got a decent plot, a decent cast  who do a decent job and decent direction. But it’s also not a great film, because all of those things are decent, and not much more. It does make more of an effort to have a twist in the tail than I thought it might, which surprised me, but it does feel just a little overly-long at points in the middle.

All in all, 21 is worth the watch, but suffers from the same flaw that a lot of similar films suffer from – if the card counting system is made to look simple enough that you think you could do it yourself, it loses just a little of its pizzazz. On the whole, it’s probably worth the watch, but not essential

My Friday Night

On Friday I went to play a  handball match in Barcelona. It is a league consisting of six teams.
These are the top three teams in Group A and three from group B.
We would have had to play against the winner of our stage this weekend.
It was a very even match, but the goalkeeper of them, former player of Barcelona, emphasized making many stops and some of them very difficult to stop.
This meant that the opposing team was put in front the net and ended up winning the match by 10 goals.
In conclusion, I'm not happy with the game I did, but I still continue working and improving everyday the
issues.

My day

Every day, at 7 o'clock I wake up and go to the bathroom.

Then, at 7:15 I breakfast cereal with milk.

Later, I dress and and I walk to school.

School begins at 8 o'clock, and ends at 14:30.

At 14:30, I have lunch at home, after lunch I normally watch TV.

At 15:00, I start to do my homework  or I study for an exam.

At 19:00, I stayed with my friends for a while to talk or smoke a cigarette.

At 20:00, I'm going to train handball.

At 22:00, when I get home, I have a shower and later, I have dinner.

At 22:30, I watch TV and at 23:30, I go to sleep.

And the next day, the same old routine starts!

It comes the summer

At least, it comes the summer! The days are longer this means "party time". I've a lot of plans for this summer: I will try to get a job ( although I know that it would be difficult due to the crisis.. but however, I will try). It's no longer necesary waking up early and studying a lot. Insteat, my friend and me will pass long time at the beach or at the swimming pool. We organize tours with the motorcicle or visiting neighbour villages. Having fun is our only objective... During three months we can forget all our stress and paints, and we can enjoy a lot! Summer is necesary to charge our batteries in order to be fit for next course!

Projects

Many students do not like doing exams, I'm one of them. And because of this, I will give my opinion about the projects that we do in the High School at the English Classroom.
First of all, I would like to say that making projects I like so much.
I consider positive the fact to do this and don't just use the book. So people have better marks and try to do a good project. This is because they like to do different types of work in class, because doing the book becomes a routine and it also becomes very boring over time.
For this reason, the people stop trying, thing which lead to fail more people.
But nevertheless, it would be nice to do the book to learn more about the conjugation of verbs, because it is one of the hardest things in the English Language.
In conclusion, the projects help us lose the shame and express ourselves, but on the other hand, the fact of using books also has a number of positives atributes.

In addition to visiting castles and cathedrals because they are very nice there.

I would also like to see how the life of the English people is, because I guess that it is different from ours in Spain.

Apart form that, I really like to visit London because this year I couldn't go on tour with my class.

Also I want to experience Wales mountains and valleys; enjoying Scotland's vast Lochs; drinking coffee and eating fish and chips; walking through the ancient streets; surfing with the locals in Cornwall; enjoying the underground music scene in Manchester and much more.
